About Our Practice

Telepsychiatry Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday (By Appointment Only). Call or email for details.

Evidence-based practice is defined as a problem-solving approach to the delivery of healthcare that incorporates the best available evidence, clinicians’ expertise, and patient values and preferences. Our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides mental health care to patients, and even more crucial, she provides care that is proven to be effective.

What is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner?

Experience

A Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who has graduate education that enables them to practice in various health care settings. Similar to a psychiatrist, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner can assess, diagnose, and prescribe medications. Psychiatric NP’s specialize in providing mental healthcare to patients.

High Quality & Low Cost

We use a “nursing” approach. We see the person first and the disease second. In many instances, Psychiatric NPs can provide care equal to that of psychiatrists for a fraction of the cost to patients. As a result, psychiatric NPs make compassionate mental health care accessible to many patients.

Effective Management

Experts in psychopharmacology possess an in-depth knowledge of psychiatric medications and how to prescribe them effectively.
